What we collect
- Hosts who sign in with Google: your name and email address, used to sign you in, link you to the games you create, and show the site owner who is hosting.
- Game details a host enters, such as party name, award names or questions, guest names and costume descriptions.
- Votes and answers: which guest played and their picks. Guests don't create accounts. A random code stored on the voter's phone lets them edit their own ballot.
- Approximate region: the time zone and language setting of the phone or computer used to vote, play or create a game (for example America/Los_Angeles and en-US). We don't collect IP addresses, GPS or precise location.
- AI question writing (Matched): when a host uses the ✨ buttons, the question text and theme they typed are sent to OpenRouter to write questions. No guest names or answers are sent. We log when a host uses AI, to enforce a usage limit.
How it's used
To run the game and show results for that party, and to give the site owner usage statistics: how many games are hosted, by whom, how many guests take part, and in which regions. We don't sell or share data, show ads, or use tracking cookies.
Who can see what
Anyone with a game's link can see its guest list and results. In Halloween Costume Awards, only vote totals are shown, never individual ballots. In Matched, each player's answers and guesses appear on the reveal screen once the host reveals that question; before that they're hidden. Only the host can edit a game. The site owner can see usage statistics, including host email addresses, but not guests' individual answers.
Storage and deletion
Data is stored with Supabase. Hosts can delete a game at any time, which removes its questions, guests and votes. To have your host account removed, contact the site owner through the support email shown on the Google sign-in screen.
